Has your child been identified with a disability? Is your child struggling in school? Are you worried that the school is not providing the services your child needs to be successful? Many children struggle in school, and parents are forced to seek answers on their own because school systems do not provide them. Are you tired of waiting patiently for things to get better?

All parents can positively impact their children’s learning and healthy development. When families, schools and communities partner together schools thrive and students benefit. It is not always easy to navigate the educational system and know how best to work with school personnel.

​

“Empowering Parents” is designed to help parents navigate the special education process, by empowering them with understanding and knowledge to provide/obtain the educational supports and services that their child needs.

THE PROGRAM

The program is organized in four modules, three compulsory modules and a module that is Taylor made to suit the needs of your child.

Module 1: Child Development

Module 2: Brain Functions and Learning

Module 3: Evolution of Special Needs Education

​

Module 4: Supporting my child who has been diagnosed with Autism/Learning Disabilities/Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder/Speech & Language Disorders.
